We will be starting our three dimensional papier mache projects soon. It will be helpful if you start collecting and saving things like paper towel and toilet paper cardboard tubes, lightweight cardboard (e.g. cereal and cracker boxes), and newspaper. Send them in with your child anytime and we will start a “trash” heap in our classroom. Thank you!
We will also be celebrating Valentine’s Day next week on Friday. Students may bring in treats or valentines for the whole class and exchange them on Friday.
We are mourning the losses of both Karrington’s cousin and Chandler’s uncle. Please keep their families in your prayers as they go through this difficult time. A visitation for Karrington’s cousin will be help Friday evening from 5-9 pm at Fred Hunter’s of Hollywood (6301 Taft Street) and a service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at First Assembly of God in Hollywood (1019 N. 24th Ave.).
God’s blessings! Have a terrific weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sankey
